Advanced Capabilities

Dive Works proudly own and operate an advanced Fleet of world class Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs)  and the very latest in additional tooling, sensors, handling and lifting systems and world class Mobile Dive Station and equipment. From our incredible work class Leopard down to the latest observation class Falcon and over 500 pieces of specialised equipment to support any work scope provided.

Our ROV Fleet and equipment are maintained, tested and serviced to the highest standards possible from our two work shop facilities in Victoria and Tasmania.

Our commitment and pride in our Fleet and equipment ensures we are ready and able to mobilise quickly at short notice, deliver a proven Emergency Reponses service and continually met and exceeded client expectations.

In-house Design and Fabrication

Dive Works engages qualified engineering and technical suppliers to carry out design, fabrication, repair and precision manufacturing of mild and stainless steel and cast and alloy materials.

Testing and trial runs are conducted prior to project mobilisation to ensure all designs are fully operational.

At Dive Works, the designer, fabricator and final installer all work together. Design revisions are approved and implemented immediately

Benefits of using ROVs instead of divers

  • Additional Tooling – A variety of tools can be added onto the ROV, such as; imaging sonar, LinkQuest tracking system, leak detection system, Ultrasonic Thickness Tester (UTT), navigation suite and manipulator
  • Reduce Costs – Dive Works only requires two personnel and ROV, instead of a six man dive crew and decompression chamber. (A decompression chamber is required when divers work past a depth of 30 metres)
  • Safety – An ROV is deployed in the water instead of divers, significantly reducing occupational health and safety risks
  • Quality of Images – The Seaeye ‘Falcon’ Observation Class ROV has a high resolution colour camera which captures high quality images, making is easier to determine asset management and maintenance requirements
